creating 3D photographs

i’m planning on using StereoPhoto Maker (SPM) in order to create a 3D image ready for DLP projection on an optoma HD33. apparently the software is quite capable and has much functionality beyond my goal.

a link to the software can be found here – http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/stphmkr/

more specifically I will be using multi conversion/multi batching to convert a 2d image into the correct format for use as two different output streams with the HD33.  a link to this process can be described here – http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/stphmkr/help/stereo_11.htm and further here – http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/stphmkr/help/file_09.htm

the dlp glasses should then filter out each stream into either eye, at a frame right beyond detection of the human eye. the brain does the rest as it would normally by combing retinotopic images into a coherent perception of the world/my image.

updates to come.
